To highlight the 100 years of Zayed, students of Manzil, GEMS Millennium School Sharjah and Millennium School Dubai put on a heart-warming show at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel on the 5th of May 2018.
To treat every person as a special soul, no matter what his creed or race, is a mark of Islam” On Saturday, these words from the founding father were brought to life again celebrating His Highness the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s 100th birthday.
The event was attended by Sir Christopher Stone,the Chief Education Officer, MENASA for GEMS Education and Mr. Ricky Husaini,Permanent Trustee of Manzil along with Manzil partners and parents of the students.
Addressing the crowd, Sir Christopher expressed his admiration towards the inclusion program and wished the graduates of 2018 all the very best as they embark on their new journey into the world of employment.
The concert was a portrayal of Manzil’s inclusion program with The Millennium School and GEMS Millennium that has successfully been taking place for the past 10 years.
A total of 25 volunteers from GEMS participated along with Manzil students for the performances. 6 of Manzil’s exchange interns and 21 individual volunteers helped with the smooth running of the event.
The concert concluded with a vote of thanks to all the staff and students that worked hard to make this event a success. Manzil also extended its gratitude to the patrons, supporters, esteemed guests and all the interns and volunteers that helped to make the day special.
