Manzil’s third annual sports day was held on January 14th at the Al thiqah club. Blessed with good   weather, the Sports Day was indeed of great excitement and fun.  Mr. James Thick was the Chief Guest, declared the meet open.The day started off with suras and the national anthem followed by the march past from different groups which was led by the flag bearers. The audience was then treated to a drill by the students. The students performed the drill very enthusiastically. The beautiful effort and hours put in by our students and staff truly showed in their performances. This was followed by the competitive events for the children. Some of the games were indeed physical but every student sportingly participated in the name of fun. There were also special races conducted for the parents, which brought about much laughter and great fun to the day. The winners were all awarded with certificates. This year also saw a record number of parents who   came to support this event. The classes which had a highest percentage of
attendance by the parents at this event stood a chance to win certificates Many thanks to the   parents who supported the event and made it one to remember.
